- This is a comprehensive tool to determine the cost of building a substation or any small portion of it. All material cost is populated. Enter the quantity for an estimate.
- Each piece of equipment is given more than one (1) type. Why? Consider a 345kV – 138kV station, if there’s one breaker present for each voltage then (in the form to the left, under circuit breaker) pick a 345kV breaker in type 1 and 138kV for type 2.
- Certain equipment require structural steel. For instance, a disconnect switch needs a switch stand, a CCVT needs a pedestal etc. In these instances, the steel cost is included in the cost of the equipment.
